Reflections and Reports

     As I took the position of Vice President of Chapter Operations for Alpha Phi, my leadership skills started to develop right away. I was able to become more outspoken and assertive. I learned how to delegate well and effectively. I became more confident when it came to being a leader and being in a position where other people relied on me. I was  able to develop a more professional manner when it came to serious business matters. I was also able to expand my experience and knowledge of financial transactions and functions through this position. I was able to improve my time managing skills as well. This position helped me come out of my comfort zone and show myself all the things I can accomplish. Leadership is a difficult quality to have and or develop unless you have experience with it. I realized how much leadership experience positively impact your life. By having leadership positions, you grow into a better, more well-rounded person. Leadership roles help you throughout your life from school to your career to your family. This position helped me improve and expand my resume while giving me an advantage above the other candidates. After taking this position, I believe that everyone should have the opportunity and responsibly of taking on a leadership role. They will grow and experience so much throughout their time in that leadership setting. I honestly believe that I have become a better, more mature person from having this leadership position in my life.
